This blog was created following the release of the book : A Road less Traveled by.
Rather than dwelling over negative aspects of living in the Kingdom or complaining of endless issues, this blog is dedicated to write about everyday life in Saudi Arabia. While the book focused on women and the education system in the Kingdom, here they are just two topics out of many.
You might find the posts quite boring, considering that what we do here is done everywhere in the world.
So, you might ask why should you check the blog then? The answer would be : to read about our ordinary lives

Welcome to my blog…
Before I came to Saudi Arabia, I know nothing about the place. back then, the media did not enjoy the technologies it has today. Aside from my husband, I had no source of information aside from asking the Saudis I met on my way.
Nothing could have prepared me for my journey and upon arriving to Riyadh found out that I had many false information about the country and it’s people..
Through my book and this blog i hope to shed some light over the real lives of women in Saudi Arabia, which is not as bad as perceived by western media.
The book or the blog neither idealizes nor demeans life in Saudi Arabia. It just reflects on the life of some women in Saudi Arabia.
if you are looking for drama then this blog is not for you… if you are looking to gain some knowledge about Saudi women.. then I believe, this blog is for you…
